Domain Rating

Categories: D, SEO Glossary

Domain Rating (DR) is an SEO metric developed by Ahrefs, a popular SEO tool. It measures the strength of a website’s backlink profile on a scale from 0 to 100. It takes into account both the quantity and quality of backlinks pointing to a site.

High DR scores typically indicate that a website has a lot of high-quality backlinks, suggesting it is authoritative and reliable. A high DR can positively impact a site’s visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs) and its ability to rank for specific keywords.

It’s important to note that while enhancing your DR can contribute to your SEO strategy, it is one of many factors that search engines consider when ranking websites. Hence, an exceptional DR should coincide with other robust SEO practices for the best results.
