Bait and Switch: This tactic involves initially creating a website with the intent of providing valuable, often informational content to build trust and establish authority within a specific niche. Once the website has achieved a level of credibility and attracts a significant audience, the strategy shifts towards monetization, frequently by introducing an excessive number of advertisements or altering the site’s focus to promote products or services. This abrupt change can undermine user experience and trust, as the original purpose of the site appears to have been merely a lure for traffic before the switch to a more profit-driven agenda.
