Over 400% growth every month with dedicated outreach campaign for SaaS

Our client has developed a solid alternative to Microsoft Copilot. He implemented various AI models, enhanced the product with additional features (the "translate" tab is especially useful!) and went to market. Read how we increased visibility and traffic with an outreach campaign.

The role of Digital PR in the project
Andreea Saveluc, Outreach team leader on strategy:
Site owners liked our content ideas. Even if they didn't want new articles, many agreed to add the client's link to existing publications. I made sure the links were added to relevant, high-quality sites with Domain Rating above 50 and good traffic.

What industry is the client in and what problem did we solve?

The SaaS client wanted to increase its online visibility without spending a fortune on paid advertising.
The user base of its app did not grow as fast as expected - despite receiving positive reviews from stores that used the app. In the end, the product is only part of the success - and the AI app market requires a more precise approach, which is what we did.

Challenges

The site had recently been launched (new domain) and had not yet made a name for itself on the Internet. Added to this was a highly competitive market. The client operates in a highly competitive niche saturated with countless AI tools.
There was a huge difference between our client's domain authority and its established competitors. We had a short time to achieve measurable results with limited resources.

Step-by-step actions

This time, the client did not plan to work with us on a full SEO campaign. Instead, he asked us to support his team in developing an outreach plan and schedule a brief consultation on SEO best practices.
This allowed us to focus on what really mattered in this situation: generating traffic to the site and building authority as quickly as possible. With our experience developing brands in competitive niches, we knew we had to take a broader view of the industry as a whole. This helped us set realistic expectations in terms of link building results and overall marketing strategy.
1
SEO consulting
To begin, we focused on the site's weaknesses: insufficient on-page optimization, lack of quality backlinks and low keyword rankings. We then provided the client's team with organized, practical advice. These covered technical SEO issues such as optimal internal link structure, metadata improvements and keyword analysis (keyword research).
2
Optimization of site architecture
We proposed a new site structure and content plan to make it more search engine friendly.
3
Competitor and market analysis
We looked at competitors' link profiles and other SEO metrics. We noticed that many of the client's competitors were betting on trends at the expense of long-term benefits. This approach may have worked, but the client was determined to build a strong brand for the long term. Therefore, our recommendations included expanding the site with more evergreen content and an emphasis on building relationships, not just links.
4
Building relationships through links
We realized that the client's website needed to be associated with high authority domains in order to gain credibility and elevate it to the top of visibility. We got in touch with SaaS sites that had already published content talking about GPT, AI and chatbots more than once.
5
Link Building Strategy
We were guided in our work by our Link Requirement Plan (LRP). This is a document that outlines the key requirements of our link building strategy. It allows us to focus on delivering results and tracking progress. The LRP is the embodiment of the PDCA method. It provides a clear, concise overview of predictions versus actual results. Allows us to be proactive and adjust our strategy.

Our results

To differentiate the client from the competition, we had to act quickly and focus on delivering results. We realized we had a winning strategy when traffic to the site began to increase dramatically.
We quickly began to see amazing results as traffic increased from 4,000 to 185,000 visitors. This was all thanks to the introduction of several improvements to the site and a focused approach to outreach. The client's authority is on par with competitors in the AI application market. We have developed and maintained a high position for the site in search results.

Summary

Our task was to work with a new site in a highly competitive market. We had to narrow the authority gap between the site and its competitors and deliver results in a short period of time. To achieve this, we decided to focus on what we know best: building quality links and building valuable relationships.

With our knowledge of the AI industry, we developed and implemented a practical plan that resulted in impressive growth.
