What industry is the client in and what problem did we solve?
Our client owns a Finnish company that provides recruitment solutions. Its main goal is to connect potential employees with Finnish organizations.
In Finland, the company already has a reputation as a trusted partner for companies expanding or relocating to the country. However, despite its local success, the client faced obstacles when entering the Romanian and Slovakian markets. The main difficulty was virtually zero visibility in those countries.

The client set a rather unusual goal. Instead of the standard goals of increasing sales or website traffic, our task was to attract and increase the number of potential employees from Romania and Slovakia. This required a tailored SEO strategy targeting the labor and education sectors.
Initially, the client's site had minimal keyword visibility - it ranked for only three, a very poor result. Moreover, the project's time constraints posed a serious challenge. Achieving meaningful SEO results usually takes time. The process involves thorough research, planning, execution, monitoring and optimization based on the results. Meanwhile, this project required quick execution, and the client wanted to see a significant increase in online visibility and application flow in just five months.
Our Process
We started our cooperation on May 1 and ended on December 1, 2023. The most important tasks were optimizing the site, building visibility in target markets and migrating the domain.
The first step was a detailed audit of the site and analysis of the competition in Slovakia and Romania. Thanks to this, we knew how the client compares to the competition and what could hinder the best results.

We conducted a comprehensive SEO technical audit of the client's site. We identified technical issues, highlighted the site's optimization needs and made strategic recommendations to improve its performance. The audit established a roadmap for all subsequent strategies.

In-depth analysis of markets
We conducted a detailed market analysis for Slovakia and Romania, exploring opportunities and challenges. This research also helped us understand local language nuances and employment trends specific to these countries.

We conducted a detailed keyword analysis and identified targeted keywords with high traffic from Slovakia and Romania. As a result, we knew what job seekers were looking for and implemented this knowledge into our content strategy. Link Building Strategy and Content Plan
We developed a comprehensive link-building strategy that involved building high-quality links from relevant sources. We built a precise Content Plan that was engaging yet educational. The goal was to increase the authority of the client's site.

Migration
The client wanted to keep the existing domain during the migration, so our plan focused on maintaining the already achieved position. The process was complicated. It included thorough URL mapping and re-auditing after the migration, and the last step was to work on indexing the site. We were helped by the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method, which involves cyclical process improvement.

We achieved the client's main business goal of a steady flow of applications. We increased the overall visibility of the site by 1200% in Romania and Slovakia. Keyword visibility grew by more than 598%. Meanwhile, the migration from the old domain went without any problems.
Throughout the project, we produced more than 80 high-quality pieces of content in English, Slovak and Romanian. We distributed them to relevant local sites to further expand our reach - and build high authority links. Using carefully selected content and strategically placed CTAs on these pages, we improved the number of submissions. Daily clicks on the site increased from 50 to more than 600.
