Our client is a manufacturer of sun sails. They offer shading solutions for spaces such as patios, balconies, and gardens. Their main product range includes patio sails, garden sails, horizontal Roman blinds, and waterproof sails.

The company operated across 22 international markets but struggled with a fundamental technical issue: two proprietary domains were competing against each other, preventing the effective separation of domestic and international traffic.

The project began in December 2024 with a list of complex technical and strategic challenges:

Competing Domains — Inability to separate domestic and international traffic due to technical connections between two domains (duplicate service). Content Duplication — Problems occurred both between domains and within individual language versions (copies for different countries using the same language). Weak Link Profile — In order to build domain authority and brand presence in Google, we had to catch up with competitors as quickly as possible. Technical Limitations — Lack of ability to automatically define hreflang attributes for proper geo-targeting.

Our team approached the project systematically, solving problems one by one. We started by addressing technical foundations and moved on to advanced content optimization.

Technical Store Separation

The first step was strategic store separation — keeping the Polish store on the .pl domain and moving international language versions to the global .eu domain. It improved international traffic management.

Implementation of Technical Solutions

Implementation of URL redirects for proper indexing of changes. Preparation of custom hreflang meta tag script — we wrote a dedicated module implementing correct hreflang meta tags. Comprehensive technical optimization, including Title and Description meta tags, heading structure, Alt parameters, URLs, and internal navigation.

Breakthrough AI Content Automation

Due to duplicate image descriptions and their poor quality, we created an innovative AI automation that generated or optimized image descriptions for all language versions. This breakthrough automation allowed us to update approximately 100,000 image descriptions across 25 language versions. This task would have taken months of manual work.

Content Development and Link Building

Building SEO-supporting content that improves site authority. Activities related to publishing high-quality links to improve brand authority in Google.
