The client’s support and eagerness to take an active part in the project made it much smoother – together, we managed to go through a serious site revamp in just a few months!
The Client
Our client operates in a very niche market: professional power washing and cleaning equipment.
Initially, the traffic on the client’s e-commerce store was pretty low. The reason for this was clear: major players such as Amazon dominated search engine results.
Yet, the client was determined to improve their online presence by targeting more informed consumers who were closer to making purchasing decisions – or those who didn’t want to get a random product from an unknown brand.
Preliminary Stage
Month 1 began with the migration to Shopify. This involved transferring all existing content while ensuring URL consistency with proper redirections and implementing essential on-site SEO techniques.
This was also when we devised our initial SEO strategy. We researched the competition (quite a few exist outside big marketplaces!) and outlined the link and content requirements.
Stage 1: Initial Strategy Implementation
With the migration successfully completed, we shifted our focus to developing a comprehensive content plan and a robust link strategy. During February, we conducted a thorough keyword analysis to identify the high-impact keywords that could drive significant organic traffic.
We began our outreach efforts to establish backlinks from relevant, high-authority websites. Concurrently, we created and optimized content aimed at capturing search interest for these top-performing keywords, laying a solid foundation for SEO growth.
Stage 2: Onsite Review and Enhancements
In the following month, we performed a detailed onsite review. This involved going through all aspects of onsite SEO, such as meta tags, header structures, internal linking, and content placement. We identified and addressed any issues that could hinder search engine crawlers or user experience.
After all, we wanted the website to be the go-to place for power-washing tools.
Our outreach team intensified efforts to build more quality backlinks. We also began preparing the client for content and landing page creation, holding initial training sessions to empower them with the skills needed for effective SEO and content marketing.
Stage 3: Scaling Content and Outreach
The third month was focused on scaling. We aimed to maintain the SEO momentum by continuously building backlinks and refining the site’s content strategy. By this time, our client’s traffic showed considerable improvement, but we knew sustaining and accelerating growth required persistent efforts.
We introduced advanced training sessions for the client, focusing on content creation and landing page development. These sessions were designed to help the client create more targeted content aimed at engaging MoFu and BoFu users, addressing their specific needs and questions.
Przemyslaw PuternickiWe're always happy when clients are actively involved in content creation. It makes the process smoother and more effective since the person writing the article is an expert on the subject.
If the client wants to write the content themselves, we're more than ready to offer our knowledge and support — for example, by holding training sessions where we share tips to make the content more SEO-friendly.

Stage 4: Advanced Content Strategy and Consultations
In the last month of this case study, we provided strategic consultations to refine the content approach. The content now focused solely on the sales funnel – following the adjustments introduced prior.
Our efforts also included a final push in outreach to secure more high-authority backlinks. By this stage, the client’s website was on a solid ground for further growth based on continued SEO maintenance.
